It is all the rave. The word is out and it is buzzing! Brooch Bouquets are HOT HOT HOT this season. Brides thought they were cool, but only the brave could step out and do it a few years back. It is not so ODD anymore so MANY more brides have joined in the FUN!
I just love these bouquets, such great keepsakes and an amazing piece to make your wedding unique!! You can bring the brooches you have gathered to SY and we can assemble a bouquet for you OR we can gather all the brooches for you and make it! 2 options…..
Brides are not the only people buying these bouquets. We recently sold one to Dream Bakers in Wichita Falls. She brought heirlooms from her family over and we made a bouquet out of all her keepsakes. Now she can display her bouquet at her business and think of the loved ones that are represented by each brooch.
The rhinestone and pearl bouquet you see below is for a bride. She hired us to gather and build her bouquet. I love to go antiquing so I jump at the chance to go gather up these old brooches. It took 3 months to gather all her brooches. Most of her brooches came from Colorado while on my first vacation of the summer. It was a great way to pass the time while Matt, my husband, went fishing. I gathered some in downtown Wichita Falls and Dallas too. Then finally I found the few key pieces I needed in New Orleans on vacation #2 to finish it up. I think it is very interesting how all these old pieces of jewelry that were strung out in different states came together to create such a masterpiece.
So if you have the fever for a brooch bouquet come see me.Go dig out grandma and great grandmas jewelry (clip earrings, necklace pendants, cufflinks work too) It will be so much better off displayed like this, instead of being forgotten and locked up in a drawer somewhere like it is now.
I am warning you they aren’t cheap because they are booger bears to make, very time-consuming and tedious.. so be prepared… You also will not find a more unique, sentimental, one of a kind bouquet that will last a LIFETIME!!
